With 10 years of experience working in the mental health space, my goal is to build a therapy practice where South Asians living in Ontario feel supported.
Outside of my work in the mental health space, you can find me exploring trails, taking care of my plants or spending time with my growing family.
About Mosaic Minds
It’s possible to honor where you’ve come from and still choose where you’re going.
I started this practice because I know what it’s like to grow up balancing two worlds. At home, I was expected to follow South Asian cultural norms such as respecting my elders, doing well in school, choosing a “stable” career path, and never speaking too openly about how I’m really feeling. Success was often measured by being a “good” daughter, grades, job titles, or how I stacked up next to others. And when I struggled, I didn’t always feel like there was room to talk about it, let alone ask for help.
Outside, I was navigating a Canadian world that encouraged independence, self-expression, and questioning tradition.
Neither side felt fully mine. And at times, it felt like I didn’t fully belong to either.
That in-between space between being both Eastern and Western, can feel incredibly isolating. That’s why I became a therapist. Because no one should feel like they have to split themselves in half just to survive.
My practice was created for South Asians living in Canada who are trying to make sense of who they are, where they belong, and how to honor both their roots and their growth.
Whether you're working through anxiety that you’ve never had the space to talk about, carrying the quiet weight of depression, feeling stuck in relationship or dating patterns, or burned out from chasing academic or career success, you’re not alone.
We don’t offer a one-size-fits-all therapy approach. We meet you where you are, with your unique mix of values, struggles, and goals, and walk with you at your own pace.
Here, you’re not asked to pick a side.
Let’s begin the work together.
